Good Frickin' Picture Wednesday -- The Money Shot

This week's good frickin' picture is one I took in New Zealand last year when Kara and I were on our honeymoon. I was trying to take a picture of an orc, but then this sheep jumped in the way.

I still haven't slept right since I saw a sheep with a tail on that same day. Did you know sheep have tails? I mean long frickin' tails that flap around when they run. Farmers snip 'em or something when they're born, but we saw a few sheep with big long honkin' tails. It was like seeing a golden retriever with horns.

Anyway, the first person to make a joke about me, sheep, and our honeymoon wins the big prize, since I know it's coming anyway. But in order for the joke to count, you must also mention Kentucky Fried Chicken, American Samoa, and the Pope. Let's see what you've got, baaaah-dass.

  1. You're on your honeymoon taking pictures of sheep?

  2. hmmm... the pope once choked on a bone at a traditional feaast in American Samoa, prompting his entourage to head off to the nearest KFC for some popcorn chicken -- bonus points--, where they heard the story of the American honeymooners in New Zealand... one was photographing sheep, and the other was wondering why she was left unattended so soon after her wedding.

Mike, it's all I have...I feel bad enough for your wife what with her having to deal with you all the time.

  3. And Mikka wins! Contest is over, folks. But feel free to keep ripping on me. That's what I'm here for.

And for the record, taking pictures of sheep isn't all we did on our honeymoon. We also ate some of them.

Where's the "after" picture of you proclaiming yourself king after shoulder-checking the sheep off the hill?

  8. I giggle a little every time I see a sheep. They are truly one of nature's silliest animals.

  9. I just wrote about the pope on my blog! I'd say snap, but I'd really rather not. Anyway, I bet NZ was a great place to honeymoon but before I can trust you completely, answer me this.... mint or rosemary?

  10. I think it went parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Oh wait, that was me and Julio, not me and Kara.

And I think one of nature's silliest animals was just whining about not winning anything for making fun of me.

Barry, you should definitely go to NZ. If you giggle when you see a sheep, you'd be laughing your arse off the whole time.
